Two Pronounced Dead In 4-vehicle I-30 Crash

Two people died in a four-vehicle accident on Interstate 30 at the 3 mile marker, both pronounced dead at the scene. Names and ages of the victims were not available. The fatal accident happened about 5 p.m. and involved three 18-wheelers and a van. Investigators believe the accident was a chain reaction. There has been a major wreck at mile marker 3” authorities say.
Traffic on I-30 was backed up for miles as three other vehicle accidents also happened within a couple miles of the fatal crash. I-30 was closed for several hours. Texarkana, Ark., Fire Department and Arkansas State Police also responded to the accident. Ladders hang from the windshield of the middle 18-wheeler involved in a two-fatality accident Tuesday evening near mile marker 3 of Interstate 30. Texarkana, Ark., police and Arkansas State Police did a great job collecting information about the chain-reaction. The driver of the van and the back 18-wheeler were unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene, so all we can do is pray fort their families…
